DAS Group, LLC

Founded in 2000 by Mike Perone, Tim Tomasko, and Dan Nelson, the DAS Group, LLC was established through the merging of two established Rep Firms in the region. The formation joined two companies with a combined focus on Municipal and Industrial water and wastewater treatment. The three founders brought decades of knowledge spanning across instrumentation, process treatment, pumping, and hydraulics. Over the past 22 years, the DAS Group has attained consistent growth and has remained a trusted partner for their customers , vendors, and numerous consulting engineers throughout Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

On December 5, 2023, the DAS Group was purchased by New Jersey-based PumpMan Holdings LLC. The company will merge with PumpMan Pittsburgh, formerly the WC Weil Company, and together, will enhance their ability to provide industry leading sales and service support in the region.

PumpMan’s goal remains the same, which is to create a national pump system, service, and repair company. With the addition of the DAS Group, PumpMan Pittsburgh will expand on its service and repair capabilities and strengthen its position in the industry as a premier sales and equipment provider in the municipal and industrial water and wastewater markets.
